Services / 04 Capabilities

The work, plainly.

  • Brand websites

Marketing sites, brand systems, landing pages. From positioning to launch, designed and shipped by the same hand.

  • Web products

Authenticated tools, dashboards, internal platforms. Real systems with real data, designed and built as one body of work.

  • Design systems

Component libraries, token vocabularies, documentation. Not pretty screenshots. Running code your team can use the same afternoon.

  • Engagements

Fixed-scope projects, ongoing retainers, embedded teams. Whichever shape the work actually needs, not whichever shape is easiest to sell.

Process / 04 Phases

How a project moves through the studio.

  1. Discovery

One working session. I get clear on the work before I propose anything. No discovery calls disguised as sales calls.

  2. Proposal

A short document for the project at hand. Scope, approach, timeline, and a price set by the work itself. No tiered packages, no rate cards, no good-better-best.

  3. Build

Weekly working sessions. Real pages or real software every week, never one big reveal at the end.

  4. Launch

I ship to production with you. After that, a defined retainer if the relationship continues, a clean handover if it does not.

About / 01 Practitioner

One practitioner,
on purpose.

Kolvex Labs is a small design and development studio led by Mason, working remotely from Thomasville, Georgia. The studio runs at this scale on purpose: the person who writes the proposal is the person who writes the code, and the person on the call is the person who ships the work.

Background spans web development, business operations, and systems integration. The cross-section means design logic and engineering logic read as one body of work, not as a handoff between two specialists. Clients across the United States, serviced remotely with regular working video sessions.

The person you call is the person who builds it.

FAQ / 06 Questions

Common questions, answered plainly.

  • How is a project priced?

Pricing is set per project. Every engagement starts with a short proposal: scope, approach, timeline, and a price determined by the work itself. Kolvex Labs does not publish rate cards, tiered packages, or starting-at numbers; the proposal arrives within a few business days of the first call.

  • How long does a typical project take?

Most engagements ship in 4 to 8 weeks. Single-page marketing sites can ship in around 2 weeks. Multi-section sites with custom design and integrations usually run 6 to 10 weeks. The variable is client feedback and content readiness, not studio capacity.

  • Where are you based? Do you work with clients outside the US?

Based in Thomasville, Georgia, working remotely with clients across the United States. Engagements run on video calls and shared working sessions; geographic location inside the US is not a constraint. Not currently taking clients outside the US.

  • What is the difference between a Kolvex Labs site and a Squarespace or Wix template?

Templates ship quickly and cheaply, but they cap branding, performance, and what the site can become later. A custom Kolvex Labs build is shaped around the specific goals of the business, loads in under two seconds, and leaves complete control over SEO, performance, and future changes in the hands of the team that owns it.

  • Do you offer SEO and ongoing support after launch?

Yes. Every site ships SEO-ready: semantic HTML, fast Core Web Vitals, structured data, sitemaps, and meta tags written for real search behavior. Month-to-month retainers cover ongoing support and content updates without a long-term contract; engagements end cleanly when the work is done.

  • Do you build on WordPress or with custom code?

Both. WordPress is the right answer when non-technical teams need to update content themselves. Custom HTML, JavaScript, or React is the right answer when speed, control, or non-standard functionality is the priority. The stack is chosen for the job, not for sales convenience.
